4:Twelve is the student ministry at Open Door for any and all students in grades 6-12. We exist to minister to the students at Open Door and those in our community through relevant teaching, building of relationships through Christian fellowship, and serving our church and community in various ways. Our name comes from 1 Timothy 4:12 where it says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” And our goal is to teach our students these principles in a way that they will change this world.

4:TWELVE SERVICES Each week we have a specific service time just for students at our Edenton Campus. After check-in students will have the opportunity to participate in what we call “hang-out time”, with various options and ways to connect with one another and adult leaders. Our service will include a time of worship and teaching which will be geared specifically to reach our students.
CLUB 56 (Edenton Campus Only) Students in 5th or 6th grade are invited to join this life group that meets Sunday mornings during the 10:45am service (except for the 5th Sunday of a month). During this time students will be given the opportunity to connect with one another and an adult couple that leads the group.
EVENTS Throughout the year we will provide opportunities for students to participate in various outings and events. This can include things like youth conferences, camps, retreats, fun one day outings, missions trips, etc. Please be sure to pay close attention to announcement video and bulletin each week, as well as the monthly newsletter.
