Open Door Student Ministries (ODSM) is the youth ministry (Grades 6-12) at Open Door Church. Our goal, in conjunction with the church, is for students to Love God through Worship, Learn about God through Discipleship, and Lead the world to God through Service. We are a relational student ministry seeking for students to build Godly relationships with adult leaders, other students, and the church as a whole.

In order to meet our goals, we have a 3E strategy:

Experience - No matter where the student is in their Christian walk, we believe there is always a new, fresh, and exciting way to experience God. Be it is the first time coming to know God, or revamping a stagnant relationship, we want students to experience God.

Equip – We believe that one of our primary purposes as a ministry is to prepare students for what an ungodly world will bring their way. We want to equip them with values and principles from the word of God so that they can be ready both in and out of season.

Empower – We do not want to just be a church, but the church set apart by Christ. To do this, we must empower students to be Christian leaders in both their schools and in their community by giving them opportunities to serve in these arenas.

Our 3E strategy is put into action through our weekly programs and various activities throughout the year.

On Sunday Nights (While Public Schools are in session), We have FUSE, our program centered around student relationships and small groups.

On Wednesdays, we have CORE, designed to teach students the word of God in a relevant way to them.

Activities throughout the year include summer camp, lock-ins, beach trips, paintballing, a Super Bowl Party, Winterjam, and many others. For questions or more information, please contact John Smoot at johnsmoot@visitopendoor.com .
