The Ladies Ministry strives to be a source of encouragement for today’s Christian woman as well as an outreach to those in need. The Ladies Ministry works to plan fun events “just for the girls” and focus on serving women-centered missions.

Our current mission focus is RESCUE HER. This organization centers its efforts on fighting human trafficking. The goals are to raise awareness, raise funds, and rescue and restore those imprisoned in hopes of one day abolishing modern day slavery. For more information about RESCUE HER, you can visit their site at www.rescueher.org. For more information about the Ladies Ministry, you can contact Barbara Mizell at 919-452-6275.

Some other activities just for the ladies include frequent Bible Study series on Monday nights at 7pm at the church. Our current study is from the book, He Speaks to Me. This 7-week study begins September 12, 2011. If you are interested in joining, please contact Valerie Miller at 252-426-5882 for more information or sign up at the Welcome Center at the church.

Every 2nd Tuesday night at 7pm, the ladies meet for a TEA (The Eternal Answer) party at the home of Teri Williford, 201 Blair Court, Edenton. All ladies are invited and encouraged to attend and bring a friend. The fall kick-off begins Tuesday, September 13 and will feature messages from Joyce Meyer.
