WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

It takes approximately 50 volunteers to run a service.  There are many opportunities for you to serve.  Please consider signing up to be included in the rotation of our Saturday night volunteers.  Below is a listing of all the positions that need volunteers:

To volunteer, you can sign up at the Life Group Station or follow the link below to our “Contact Us” page.  There you will fill in your name, phone and email information.  In the “Message” box, simply type in the place(s) where you would like to serve.

We will be having a Leadership Seminar on Saturday, March 10 at 6pm at the church. HELP IS NEEDED!

It just involves registering, serving snacks (which the Red Cross provides), and we also watch young children while parents donate if needed.  Very easy….but everyone’s work schedule it’s sometimes difficult to get the whole time 2-7 covered.

PLEASE NOTE: If you cannot fill your scheduled time please use cell numbers provided to switch with someone. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) We have had to scramble and find people to fill in because no one has shown up to serve and that does not look good when the parents are standing there with babies and we are looking for workers. So PLEASE remember your schedule…

Be in the nursery at lease 15 mins before service begins. This schedule is ONLY for Infant Nursery. We have teachers for toddler side which will be teaching a lesson, it is no longer called a nursery.

We have changed our check-in system for the babies, the parents will be checking the babies in where they check in Children church and then bring the babies to the door where they need to hand the child over the half door so this means that a worker needs to be at he door taking child and bag. We DO NOT want parents in the nursery. We are doing this for the safety of our children. We also are asking  you wear your nursery Tshirt every time you are serving.  We have a changing table in both bathrooms for parent needing to change there child that stays with parents.  When parents come to pick up child hand over door or open the door so child can walk out. Again NO ONE but workers and children are to be in nursery.

Things to take care of when finish serving in Nursery….

1-Make sure toys and books are put away.

2-Tables and floor are cleaned up from having a snack.

3-Trash cans are emptied….This is for Wednesday Night also.
